I feel like an “Ask Suzie Column,” but okay. Well, uhm, I’ll do the best I can. Not all guys loathe video games. Some are really into the arts, nature, etc. Some just really want to talk with a girl, you know? Tumblr really exacerbates with the whole “If a guy texts you while he’s playing a game, then it means he really cares about you.” That’s utter bs. Not all guys enjoy video games, just saying.
As much as girls love getting compliments, guys love giving compliments as well. Nothing really warms his heart more than warming the heart of his cherished one, really. When you smile, he smiles. Simple as that. The thing is, though, is that guys are generally shy when it comes to giving compliments because it’s hard to be direct and expressive with your feelings, really.
I guess just give him the opportunity to talk with you. It’s really that easy. As “macho” and “tough” that guys are seemed to be perceived as, they have a soft core (or at least most of us). Just really open your heart to him and he should reciprocate the feeling. If he doesn’t, then maybe he’s still shy. Give him time to just bloom.
